Tokyo Day 6

I'm ready to go home! I cannot wait to leave tomorrow (Monday at 5:00pm) for my 25 hour flight home! Yes I did say I'll leave Monday at 5:00PM, be traveling for 31 hours and be home on Tuesday at 9:00AM. Yeah doesn't make sense but it's awesome how that happens...

My means of travel will be; 5:00PM NRT -> HKG 8:30PM (1 hour time difference).

I will be in HKG for four hours and leave 12:30AM HKG -> SFO 10:30PM.

I'll be in SFO 8.5 hours (not sure if i'm getting a hotel or not).

I leave on the 31st at 7:00am SFO -> SEA 9:00AM.

I'm exhausted! I'll need a vacation from my vacation plus some jet leg recovery.

After last night, a nice sleep was in order along with some much needed coffee. Thank God for Starbucks!

I really enjoyed this trip a lot and learned a few thing, or maybe I admired a few things.

1. Japan is a very nice country, with nice people, Clean everything, fantastic transportation and well just an overall beautiful place to visit. Maybe I should make an appointment with a head hunter or job finder. This would be a great place to move to. I seriously have thought about working around the world. I love traveling! and I really enjoyed this trip!

2. Japan does not have many ATM's that take international cards.

3. If i was to do this trip over again, I'd spent 3 days max in Bangkok, 3 days max in tokyo itself, and 3 days in another part of Japan, and then maybe 3 - 4 days in Phuket Thailand or another beach resort area. I think 7 days here in Tokyo was a bit too much. I'd also NOT TRAVEL down here in AUGUST!!!!!

4. I think it's so cool how I can live my day before you do. I can live my day, then go to bed / asleep before you even wake up to live your day. I'm living my day while your sleeping. I'm a day ahead of you in life!

5. Thailand was not as beautiful as I had thought. I would really like to visit another part of the country like Phuket or Koh Somui. I would like to experience the calm, beach life resort part of Thailand.

6. Communication is very important. I would like to learn another language. Maybe Japanese!

Ok moving on. So we have pretty much been Tokyo'd out for the past 2 days. We should have gone to Osaka or elsewhere but Shinkansen tickets are like $350 and it was NOT IN OUR BUDGET! We have just been stumbling around looking for things to do pushing ourselves too far in this heat! So today we just decided to take it easy and go to Tokyo Disney. uhm We left our hotel kind of late and found some lunch near Disney. we waited a while and then went into Tokyo Disney Sea.

We saw a concert at the park. I have no clue who this is but she is popular and we were not allowed to take photo of here. So here is a photo of her singing!

Here is our Tokyo Ticket stub. Looks like any Tokyo ticket stub.

At this point i'm fried! This is my Fried look! I'm hot, i cannot breathe and i'm so sore.

We were so tired we took the Disney Monorail back to our Tokyo Train system for our long ride to our hotel.

Our experience with Tokyo Disney was extremely disappointing. the rides had very long lines, and they failed to deliver on the thrill and excitement that you experience on most Disney Rides. Our tickets were for 6:00PM and after. Allowing us to stay until 10:00pm. We made it on 2 rides and that was it. The park however is extremely clean like most of Tokyo. However there was a lot of dead space and lacked a lot of pazaz like most Disney's. Our complaint at the complaint department went on deaf ears and i'm sure much of it was due to miss communication. all said, if you come to Tokyo DO NOT GO TO DISNEY! it's a waste of money and NOT worth your time!
