Finally Arriving Hong Kong
Let me tell you now, that at this point in a 13.5 hour trip on an airplane with hardly any GOOD sleep SUCKS! I have pretty much been up close to 36 hours with a horrible couple hour nap. I was VERY happy to see that we were close to landing.
This is one of the coolest feature on this plane. There is a Belly cam so we can watch the pilot land ON THE CENTERLINE like he is suppose to.
Hong Kong Airport
Ok at this point I have been sitting in a chair/bed/whatever you want to call it for 13.5 hours and have been up for around 36 hours. I stink, and I’m sweaty. As soon as I stepped off the plane onto the jet way at 6:15AM Hong Kong time I immediately was drenched in HOT, Sweltery, Sticky Whatever it is. IT WAS HOT. And only 6;15AM. Common!! I needed to shower. The whole airport seemed like the A/C was not working. And the worst part about it is I walked all over the stupid “Secure Area” trying to figure out where the Transit people are supposes to go. Finally figured out, that it was Oh about a 30 minute WALK to the other end of the airport and up the stairs. UHG. By this time I needed a shower. So I went to the Cathay Pacific Club.
AND SHOWERED AND CHANGED CLOTHES! Oh and Shaved! Now the showers worked the stink off, but as soon as I showered the added moisture of a hot shower made the bathroom so unbearable. I could NOT get dry! This was ridiculous. I just wanted to walk out naked. It was so miserable. So I compromised and wore a t-shirt and shorts…

Then sat in the club for about 2 hours, drank more coffee, checked emails, and wrote this blog!
