I was freaked out. Now remember they just had an uprising and bombing in the city of a few months ago to a few days ago. My friends were not arriving for a couple hours, and being awake for 48 hours was NOT helping. I just wanted to get to the Hotel.
When I arrived at our hotel we were greeted with a "Bomb Sniffing" crew. CREEPY. No i didnt get a photo of them sniffing for our bombs.
I stayed here the first night as it was FREE!
And got up to the room and crashed after drinking a Coke Zero and Fried Rice. The Authentic Thai food it is... LOL
As soon as My friends arrived a couple hours later, we met with the concierge at our new hotel. The Intercontinental and she helped us book some tours (Beach and Clubbing) along with giving us a list of places to go eat.
Hopped into our Cab and off to Dinner we went. We threw a dart and ended up on some back alley Authentic Thai restaurant that was actually pretty good. Again i ordered the Fried Rice with Chicken and a Pina Colada!
This is what we started our dinner with to Wash our hands. It's so cute! a little flamingo towelette.
Ok for Reasons beyond my control.. Ok they were totally in my control but i'm not sharing, the rest of the day will not be blogged. Once I drank 1 drink i was kind of down for the count! and super exhausted. so I totally dont remember the rest of the evening!
